John and Lynne, along with their friendly Ragdoll cat called Oscar, welcome you to Austin Heights accommodation situated on the Kaikoura Peninsula, where it is lovely and peaceful with a stunning panoramic view of the Kaikoura Mountain ranges, Pacific ocean & Coastline. Not suitable for children!
Situated only a five minute drive from the town center and all local attractions & Marine life activities, quality restaurants, shops & cafes.
Austin Heights is surrounded with price-winning Gardens, winning the Best Commercial Garden in Kaikoura once again in 2012. There is out door furniture to relax on and admire the scenery with a nice bottle of local wine.
3 quality self-contained apartments with private entrances & parking space. Plus a private bedroom and bathroom in Hosts home. All our apartments are recently up-graded and have a lovely out-look. All have their own kitchenette and are self-contained. The two upstairs apartments open out onto a long balcony with table & chairs to relax on, while taking in the breath-taking views and enjoying the peace and tranquility our property has to offer. We are happy to have a hearty breakfast ready in time for the early Whalewatch or other activities.
The Garden And Mountain View Apartment
and the Roses Bedroom are both situated downstairs on the ground level - with a lovely view. Free wireless broadband connection is available in all rooms, plus we have laundry facilities are just some of the sevices we offer our Guests. Courtesy pick-up from bus or train with prior notice.
All tariffs include a generous buffet breakfast in our communal dining room, including cereals, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, toast, crossiants, home-made jams and preserves, cheese, manuka honey. A selection of teas and fresh ground coffee.
